“Mash” is the alias of DJ/producer/label owner/radio broadcaster, Martyn Henderson. As part of marketing outreach for the year, I was approached to develop a new logo, one that would have a contemporary, digital appeal. The logo needed to be adaptable to both print and digital executions.
In searching for something that had strong digital, viral and campaignable elements to it, I arrived at the concept of the “MashTag”. Here the logo uses a graphic device, which keeps it within the remit of electronic music, but also lends itself to social media applications. The styling is bold and dynamic, and adaptable to a range of print and online purposes.
