Heart 100 Days Of Happy DOOH Campaign

Heart is a leading UK radio network operated by Global Radio. In the summer of 2015 they enlisted agency Trigger Buzz to launch the ‘100 Days Of Happy’ campaign, a national promotion where Heart asked it’s listeners how they would spend £100k on a fantasy shopping spree. Trigger would take the best responses and turn them into an image to be used as digital outdoor content and content on Heart’s social media channels. I was asked to created the digital outdoor campaign (DOOH) comprised of dozens of sites across the country, and the video content for social media.


The stylistic direction for the campaign needed to be fun, engaging but very much on-brand. Once the client had decided on a particular subject for execution, they created a loose storyboard which was supplied to me. Based on the storyboard I created short, animated ads which formed the basis of the digital campaign. There were 4 main audience ads – ‘penguin’, ‘parachute’, ‘motorbike’ and ‘duck’, and then a raft of messaging-based communications some of which were adapted for social media.
