Jason Aldean is an American country music singer. Since 2005 he has released six albums and twenty-two singles. For his latest effort ‘Old Boots New Dirt’, I was asked by client Sony Music UK to develop regional press and outdoor advertising in support of the album, and in support of his appearance at the Country To Country music festival at London’s o2 Arena in March, 2015.
Taking cues from the album artwork, we extended the graphics, colour and typography into a letterpress-style, 2 column layout. The master full-page press advert was formatted for several publications, and then became the template for subsequent communications. Including London Underground escalator panels, a digital LCD and a 6-sheet site at North Greenwich, and the Country To Country brochure itself.
