Shoot Matchday Sport Newsletter

Shoot Matchday is a sport/music hub for parent brand Shoot Music Promotions, a music promotion specialist company for the sport market. As part of increased brand outreach we were asked to design and develop a Shoot Matchday newsletter which would be distributed at football stadiums throughout London, on a bi-monthly basis. The primary goal of the newsletter is to drive traffic – to the Shoot Matchday website, social media platforms, and the branded Spotify playlist.
The newsletter would be a flat A4 page that folds down to A6 size for portability, with content arranged to best suit the format. Our intention was to create something premium, with strong leading imagery and a refined layout that wouldn’t be perceived as ‘sales-y’. We sat down with the client and sketched out the amount of content that could comfortably fit in the newsletter, and then produced a mockup. The client then revised the content to fit, and we added little touches to the layout including graphics and headlines. Once approved we formatted the newsletter for print, and helped sourced a suitable printer for delivery.
After a successful launch, the next stage of the newsletter planned will be an interactive digital version, incorporating rich media and greater interactivity.
